Job Description
You’ll join the Presales Team to help us further expand capability to demonstrate how our client’s solutions & services are meeting the increased Cyber Security market demands. You'll also be a trusted technical advisor on the Commercial Sales Team. You’ll require specialised knowledge in cyber security, T&D product lines, markets, sales processes, and customer groups.
Responsibilities
- Presenting GE Digital Grid’s products and security capabilities and strategy externally in a professional manner
- Be familiar with relevant current and upcoming cyber security standards and regulations that govern these products as used by the utility
- Work with Product Management and Engineering to maintain documentation of design patterns/recipes for common security requirements
- Produce information security marketing material and artefacts that can be leveraged by our commercial teams
- Evaluate and recommend new and emerging security products and technologies
- Lead the research and evaluation of emerging technology, industry and market trends to assist in project development and/or operational support activities.
- Understanding technical and business discussions relative to a solution’s architecture aligning with business goals.
- Understands concepts of describing values of architecture direction.
- Lead business discussion around the GE Digital Grid portfolio from an architectural perspective, in the Operational Technology domain and energetically present the future direction of the product suite from a technology perspective. Ability to consult prospective customers on alignment of outcomes and desired technical solutions at an enterprise level.
- Able to lead early-stage customer interactions; Guide customers as they develop confidence and comfort with approaches and integrate with their legacy tech investments.
- Experience with mission critical and/or industrial control systems, particularly EMS, DMS, OMS, DERMs, GIS, etc.
- Utilises in-depth knowledge of Cyber Security within the Utilities Industry, application of standards such as ISO 27001 / IEC 62443, and conformance of the GE Digital Grid product suite.
- Technical security background in one or more of the following: Enterprise Linux, Windows, Virtualization, Docker containers, Kubernetes, Networking.
Requirements
- A general understanding of supporting technologies including SOAP, OAuth, SAML, OpenID Connect, HTTP, XML, LDAP, SQL, and XACML.
- Recognized qualification in Cyber Security would be an advantage, for example Certified Information Systems Security Professional or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience in IT Security or system administration and scripting at an Electric Utility.
- Experience in large service provider environments.
- Bachelor's Degree Computer Science or STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths)
